Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have been planning their wedding for a long time now. The couple came close to scheduling their big day quite a few times in the last 2 years, but every time the pandemic played spoilsport as they had to delay their wedding date. The duo has openly admitted to their plans of getting married this year and now in just a few days, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are about to begin their wedding festivities.

While there is a huge excitement in the audience to see Richa and Ali as bride and groom, the duo has given a perfect start to those celebrations with their quirky ‘save the date’ invite to their guests. Both Richa and Ali have quite distinct and unique personalities and their choices are also quite unconventional, and now that reflects in their invite as well.

The picture of their save the date invite that has surfaced, sees the duo have their faces custom sketched into kitschy pop art design on a matchbox-shaped invite. It has a retro 90s feel and the matchbox reads ‘Couple Matches’ with a quirky sketch of Richa and Ali in traditional garbs both riding a bicycle. While Richa is wearing a red saree in the sketch, Ali is seen wearing a purple blazer paired with a black trouser and a red tie.

Richa and Ali met on the sets of their film Fukrey and the couple has been together ever since. Their wedding festivities reportedly will begin in Delhi and end in Mumbai. The pre-wedding bash will start towards September end and will go on till October 2 in Delhi, while the wedding will happen on October 6 and the reception on October 7 in Mumbai. The Delhi Gymkhana Club, a prestigious and historic club in India, will be one of the locations for their pre-wedding festivities.
