Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal share a sweet message for fans as they CONFIRM wedding

Richa Chadha and Alia Fazal have had a dreamy love story for the ages that started on the sets of Fukrey. Even though they wanted to have their wedding around two years ago, the path to it was filled with bumps owing to the pandemic. However, the recent buzz had made it clear that the couple is tying the knot in October, and now even the bride and groom-to-be, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, have made their wedding official. While the happiness for their big day is at an all time high, the unique way they made this announcement has just made the wait for it all the more exciting.

Taking to social media, Richa and Ali posted a cute audio note with an adorable picture of them together in the background. The audio note starts in the way of an answering machine, and that’s when the couple starts talking to their fans. The note says, “We have a message for you. Two years ago we formalised our union and just then the pandemic hit us all, pressing a pause button on our celebrations and life. Like the rest of the nation, we too were struck by personal tragedies one after the other.”

Going further, they announced that finally they are taking the next step in their relationship and Richa and Ali couldn’t sound happier. They added, “And now, as we all enjoy this window of respite, we are finally celebrating with our families and our friends and we are so very touched and grateful for all the blessings that are coming our way. We offer you nothing but our love. Thank you!”

The soon-to-be wed couple recently flew down to Delhi for their pre-wedding festivities that will begin there and end in Mumbai. The pre-wedding bash will start towards September end and will go on till October 2 in Delhi, while the wedding will happen on October 6 and the reception on October 7 in Mumbai. The Delhi Gymkhana Club, a prestigious and historic club in India, will be one of the locations for their pre-wedding festivities. Here’s wishing the happy couple a lifetime of togetherness!
