Richa Chadha is one of the few actresses in Bollywood who share their thoughts and opinions without any qualms and without mincing words. The actress has also never held herself back to devote time to initiatives that indeed help to raise awareness for the right causes. Recently, following her way to spread awareness the actress came forth to help with a peacemaking initiative of the Indian Army. This initiative which is called ‘Sadbhavana’ helps in creating an atmosphere of peace in the face of insurgency in Assam by stressing on the education of the girl child.

As a part of the initiative, 20 school girls from Assam came to Mumbai and when they were asked as to which inspirational figure in Bollywood would they like to meet, they chose none other than Richa Chadha. The actress agreed to help them without hesitation. She spent time with the girls at an Army Officer’s Institute in Mumbai and spoke to them, sharing words of encouragement. When asked about this, Richa said, “I always love interacting with people, I love people and I’m this case, the girls were so innocent and hopeful about the future that it was a pleasure to spend time with them.” (Also Read: ‘Padmavati’ controversy: Richa Chadha has a befitting reply for the protestors)
