Richa Chadha collapses on stage, rushed to hospital

‘Masaan’ actress Richa Chadha has been rushed to a hospital in Lucknow after she fainted while rehearsing for her upcoming show. Richa, who will next be seen in Sarabjit Singh’s biopic alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda, had been practicing her dance moves for a dance show which is supposed to be held in the city, but while rehearsing for the same, she collapsed running a low blood pressure.

An HT report quoted a source saying, “She has been on a strict diet to keep herself in shape for her roles. She has literally been juggling all these projects. Since she had made a commitment to the dance event a while back, she did not want to back out at the last moment. So, she was rehearsing for her performance whenever she found the time for it, especially late at night, after wrapping up her films’ shoots.”

Reports suggest that she was kept under observation for three hours post which she was discharged from the hospital. She has been advised to go easy on her hectic schedule and a long list of dos and don’ts have been handed over to her.

Apart from ‘Sarbjit’, Richa also has ‘Cabaret’ directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi in her kitty.
