Richa Chadha confirms she will marry Ali Fazal this year, says, ‘Kar lenge kisi tarah se’

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are one of the most loved couples of Bollywood. Richa and Ali are all set to take their relationship to the next level soon. Richa has confirmed that she will marry her longtime boyfriend, actor Ali Fazal this year. For the uninitiated, Ali and Richa were set to tie the knot in April but postponed the wedding due to COVID-19. Last year, Ali had told Hindustan Times that they hoped to get married by March this year, but things didn’t work out.

In a recent interview, Richa was asked if they’d indeed get married in 2022 and she said, “I think shaadi, shaadi ho jaegi iss saal. Kar lenge kisi tarah se. We’re very excited to get married but are worried about Covid-19 and also want to be responsible.”

The actress added, “We do not want to be in the news for the wrong reasons. Plus, we’ve both gotten really, really busy when stuff opened up, and work resumed at full pace. So I’m saying we have to like do a live production job of taking combination dates and making this happen this year.”

Earlier, IndiaToday had reported that the couple will tie the knot in September. The couple’s wedding festivities will reportedly take place in Mumbai and Delhi in the presence of their close friends and family members. The report also added that the couple will host a grand reception in Mumbai with 350-400 guests in attendance.

On the work front, Richa and Ali will be seen sharing screen space in Fukrey 3. They have worked together in Fukrey and Fukrey 2. Apart from this, Richa will also be seen in Abi Toh Party Shuru Hai. She also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi. The actress is also producing Girls Will Be Girls with Ali.
