Richa Chadha, who got mired into a controversy recently over her Galwan tweet has landed into trouble after filmmaker Ashoke Pandit filed a complaint against her. The filmmaker filed a complaint against the actress for allegedly insulting the Indian Army by speaking in context to the 2020 Indo-China clash. Ashoke Pandit said ‘nobody can get away by mocking our security forces’ over the Galwan tweet made by Richa Chadha.
Taking to his Twitter, Ashoke Pandit made a tweet and shared a photo of the complaint he filed against Chadha. He mentioned he has filed a complaint against the actress at the Juhu Police station. The filmmaker further hoped that Mumbai Police will act against Chadha as per the law of the land.
Sharing the photo of the complaint, Pandit wrote, “I filed a police complaint against actress #RichaChadha at #JuhuPolicestation (Mumbai).Nobody has a right to mock our soldiers . I hope @MumbaiPolice will act against her as per the law of the land.”

In his tweet, the filmmaker even tagged honourable CM of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde, and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis.
Meanwhile, celebrities Akshay Kumar and Kay Kay Menon also expressed their thoughts and strongly reacted to the tweet made by Richa. Taking to his Twitter handle, Akshay Kumar said, “Hurts to see this. Nothing ever should make us ungrateful towards our armed forces,” sharing a photo of Richa’s tweet.
However, the Fukrey actress apologized when hell broke loose after her Galwan tweet, on Twitter. She made a tweet on her Twitter, issuing an apology for hurting sentiments.

For the unversed, Richa Chadha made a tweet saying “Galwan says Hi,” reacting to the statement made by Northern Army Commander Lt General Upendra Dwivedi. In his statement, Lt General Dwivedi said that the Indian Army is ready to execute any others in regards to taking back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
