Richa Chadha drops surreal pictures from her one-month-old maternity shoot with husband Ali Fazal post their daughter’s birth

Actress Richa Chadha shared a series of never-before-seen maternity shoot photos with her husband, Ali Fazal, on Instagram following the birth of their daughter on July 16.

“Women – the sacred vessel of this divine cosmos,” the 37-year-old actress captioned the monochrome pictures. “So much can change in a month. We shot this a month ago, @stormshivajisen came over on a stormy day, with his sweet team. It rained so much that the electricity was out. We sat nursing hot cups of tea in the power cut. Thanks @alifazal9. You’re an anchor. RiALI cute,” she added.In the beachside photos, Richa wears a black dress with her hair down, standing on the shore and breathing in the fresh air. Another photo captures a light-hearted moment with Ali, both dressed in black.

A day before their child’s birth, Richa posted another set of monochrome maternity photos with Ali. “What can a love so pure bring forth into the world, but a beam of light? Thank you for being my partner on this incredible journey @alifazal9, through this lifetime and many more, through starlights and galaxies… thank you for getting genius @ridburman to shoot us in our natural habitat @gulati.kanika,” she wrote. Richa recently opened up about her emotional pregnancy journey. “The discomfort is lonely, but it’s because (I) am not alone. I have constant reminders in the form of a tiny wave of a movement, a knee, a sudden kick, a feeling of someone listening in… Waiting for a bud to blossom. Aaja yaar,” she shared alongside personal photos.

The couple announced their pregnancy on February 9, with Ali revealing the news in an Instagram post featuring two images. “A tiny heartbeat is the loudest sound in our world,” he wrote. Richa and Ali met on the set of the 2012 film Fukrey and dated for ten years before tying the knot in October 2022.
