Making someone laugh is no easy task and hats off to all those who manage to do it like it is a cakewalk. So, the actress is making her television debut by judging a stand-up comedy show named ‘Queens Of Comedy’. But before she does that, the actress wanted to experience the feel on being on-stage in front of live audience. And hence, she broke into an impromptu gig at an event.
Nervous and excited, Richa had her own ways to cheat. She quipped, “I am judging a comedy talent hunt and I wanted to see how it feels for the contestants to perform on stage. Making people laugh is a great way to live. I just wanted to see what an open mic event is like. My friend Kaneez Surka got me a slot; I performed impromptu and enjoyed it. I have a lot of respect for people who do this. I was nervous, but the comics encouraged me to go ahead. I was scared I’d forget my lines, so I wrote stuff on my hands. It was my little cheat sheet.”
Okay then!
Of late, Richa was also in news because of her alleged relationship with actor Ali Fazal.
A strongly opinionated, free-spirited, budding Bollywood journalist, she likes to write anything in her own quirky style. When not running around to get assigned tasks completed, you will find her either painting, indulging in photography or dreaming in the la la land.
