Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30 morning at Mumbai’s HN Reliance Hospital. He was battling leukemia for the last two years. He was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday morning.
Rishi Kapoor is survived by his wife Neetu Singh and children, Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. Riddhima couldn’t be with her dad at the last moment of his life due to the lockdown.
She has posted an emotional obituary for her dad. Sharing a throwback picture of her with her father, Riddhima wrote, “Papa I love you I will always love you – RIP my strongest warrior I will miss you everyday I will miss your FaceTime calls everyday! Until we meet again papa I love you – your Mushk forever”(sic).

She also posted a few pictures on her Insta stories to lament the death of her father.
As per a report in India Today, Riddhima will travel to Mumbai to attend her father’s funeral. She has sought a movement pass from South-East Delhi DCP to Mumbai to attend her father’s last rites. The permission was granted at 10.30 am today. Riddhima will travel 1,400 kms by road to attend the funeral.
Rishi Kapoor will be cremated at the Chandanwadi Crematorium, Marine Lines, in Mumbai, as told by his brother Randhir Kapoor to the media.
Alia Bhatt, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and other family members arrived at the hospital to be with Neetu and Ranbir Kapoor.
Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and he came back to India last year after his treatment in the USA.
