Riddhima Kapoor Sahni pays tribute to father Rishi Kapoor; says, “Your legacy will live on forever”

Over the last few days, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni has been sharing throwback pictures of her father Rishi Kapoor. Today she paid a tribute to her father by sharing yet another post for him. She even posted a picture with brother Ranbir Kapoor.

Rishi Kapoor breathed his last on April 30 in a Mumbai hospital after two years battle with cancer. The veteran actor’s sudden demise came as a shock for the entire nation and his daughter Riddhima was devastated since she couldn’t even meet him for the one last time owing to the nationwide lockdown.

Later, Riddhima drove all the way from Delhi to be by her mother Neetu and brother Ranbir Kapoor’s side in Mumbai. Today she shared her picture along with a black and white framed photo of her late father. Alongside the picture, she wrote, “Love you always Papa …”

She also posted a picture with brother Ranbir and remembering their father she wrote, “Your legacy will live on forever … We love you ??❤️(sic).”

Earlier, Riddhima had shared a heartfelt post for father Rishi Kapoor, in which she wrote, “Papa I love you I will always love you – RIP my strongest warrior I will miss you everyday I will miss your FaceTime calls everyday! I wish I could be there to say goodbye to you ! Until we meet again papa I love you – your Mushk forever ❤️?(sic).”

Even though Riddhima couldn’t arrive in Mumbai on time for her father’s funeral, Ranbir’s girlfriend Alia Bhatt had helped her attend the funeral via video conference.

The 67-year-old ‘Mulk’ actor was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and it was only recently when his family revealed that he had leukaemia.
