Late veteran actor Rishi Kapoor was born on this very day. His wife, Neetu Kapoor, and daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni made posts remembering him and wished him. On Rishi Kapoor’s 69th birth anniversary, Riddhima shared and presented the poster of a very special film that features the late actor. She shared the first poster of Rishi Kapoor’s final film titled Sharmaji Namkeen. Riddhima mentioned the film is a mark of love, respect, and remembrance of Rishi Kapoor. Sharing the first look of Sharmaji Namkeen, she said it is a gift to his millions of fans.
The first look of the film Sharmaji Namkeen featured a jolly Rishi Kapoor walking on the streets. Seemingly, the actor is excited to head to work with his briefcase, on a cold winter morning. The second poster featured actor Paresh Rawal in a similar avatar.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared the poster and mentioned that the film is a light-hearted coming-of-age story based on a lovable 60-year-old-man. The film Sharmaji Namkeen marks the directorial debut of filmmaker Hitesh Bhatia. Farhan Akhtar also shared the posters of the upcoming film on his Instagram.

Kareena Kapoor Khan shared the poster of her late uncle Rishi Kapoor’s film Sharmaji Namkeen. She shared the poster and expressed how much she misses the late actor. Kareena wrote, “Miss you Chintu uncle (sic),” followed by a red heart emoji.
Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020. He is survived by his wife Neetu Kapoor and kids- Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima.
