Shah Rukh Khan mourns Irrfan Khan’s death; says, “May Allah bless your soul”

Irrfan Khan, one of the finest actors of Hindi film industry, left for heavenly abode today. The 53-year-old actor’s death has a left a void which will never be filled. The ‘Hindi Medium’ actor was battling neuroendocrine tumour for two years. The news of his death came as a rude shock for the entire world.

Bollywood’s superstar Shah Rukh Khan offered his heartfelt condolences upon Irrfan’s sudden demise.

Offering his condolence, Shah Rukh wrote, “My friend…inspiration & the greatest actor of our times. Allah bless your soul Irrfan bhai…will miss you as much as cherish the fact that you were part of our lives. पैमाना कहे है कोई, मैखाना कहे है दुनिया तेरी आँखों को भी, क्या क्या ना कहे है” Love u (sic).” Have a look:

Irrfan and Shah Rukh have worked together in ‘Billu’. The two were seen together in the same frame and fans had loved their chemistry together as buddies.

The actor was in Mumbai and just three days back lost his mother Saeda Begum. She was in Jaipur. Irrfan couldn’t attend the ceremony due to the lockdown and was present via video conference.

The actor’s last rites were performed in Versova at 3 PM. He has been buried in the presence of his family and really close friends. It was a quiet ceremony as people couldn’t attend it due to the lockdown.

SRK, Aamir and Salman Khan have all sent in their condolences to the unsung superstar’s family. May Irrfan rest in peace.
