Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor was recently seen in Nandita Das’ ‘Manto’, post which he was busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Rajma Chawal’. Even though Kapoor Senior looks fit and fine, it seems like being in the demanding profession of acting has left him with some wear and tear.
The 66-year-old actor took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “Hello all! I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It’s been 45 years “plus” of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!”
