Rishi Kapoor leaves behind THIS whopping amount of assets and legacy for Neetu, Riddhima, Ranbir Kapoor

Bollywood was just recovering from the news of Irrfan Khan’s death when they were hit with another major shock as veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away. Rishi’ s son and actor Ranbir Kapoor shared a very strong bond and he was spotted at his father’s funeral extremely sad with girlfriend Alia Bhatt. Rishi has left and enormous wealth, assets and the ‘Kapoor Legacy’ behind for his son, daughter and wife.

Rishi was once asked if the ‘legacy’ was ever a burden on him. To which he replied according to Anupama Chopra’s book ‘Freeze Frame’, he said, “I have answered this for the last 40 years, now you have to answer. Did I accomplish or not? I have passed the baton on to my son (Ranbir Kapoor) now. Now it’s up to you to say whether I did justice to what I have done, what my grandfather, father did before me.” 

Talking about the legacy, Rishi has left behind an enormous wealth for Ranbir, Riddhima and Neetu. According to The Cinemaholic, the actor has an estimated net worth of $40 million or around Rs 300 crores. He owns a grand estate called ‘Krishna Raj’ in Mumbai’s Bandra, Pali Hill. The house constructed on 1 acre of land, is equipped with a swimming pool and theatre system.

Rishi was quite passionate about cars and so he had quite a collection of those. Some of them are Royal SUV, Audi, Porsche, Bentley, BMW among others. It is reported that Rishi Kapoor’s earnings, properties and assets are estimated at around Rs 7.2 crores. His earnings during his earlier days were Rs 20 Crore per annum. Apart from being an actor, Rishi was also a filmmaker and director and at the same time, he also had a stake in various business ventures. Apart from all these, he used to earn through advertisements as well.

Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30 morning at Mumbai’s HN Reliance Hospital leaving the world in a state of sadness. He was battling leukaemia for the last two years. May his soul rest in peace.
