Rishi Kapoor’s death wish for son Ranbir Kapoor will make you bawl your eyes out

Bollywood suffered through yet another loss as veteran actor  Rishi Kapoor passed away at 67. The Kapoor family was left heartbroken as they lost another family member. Rishi’ s son and actor Ranbir Kapoor shared a very strong bond and he was spotted at his father’s funeral extremely sad with girlfriend Alia Bhatt. One of Rishi’s final wishes for Ranbir will have you crying bucketloads.

In an interview with Mid-day in 2018, speaking about his death wish Rishi had said, “It is high time he got married. I settled down when I was 27, Ranbir is 35. So he should think about marriage. He can marry anyone of his choice; we don’t have any objection to it. I want to spend time with my grandchildren before I am gone.”

Ranbir is currently dating Alia Bhatt who had also posted on her Instagram. Alia has written an emotional obituary for Rishi Kapoor. She wrote that for the past two years she has known him as “a friend, a fellow Chinese food lover, a total cinema lover, a fighter, a leader, a beautiful storyteller, an extremely passionate tweeter and a father”. 

Towards the end of the post, she wrote, “Will miss you forever! Thank You for being you!”

Alia used to attend functions, parties, or any event of the Kapoor family. In fact, when Rishi Kapoor was in the USA for his cancer treatment, many times Alia accompanied Ranbir to be with his family.

We pray for strength for the Kapoor family after Rishi Kapoor’s demise. May his soul rest in peace.
