Neetu Kapoor remembers Rishi Kapoor on 50th anniversary of his debut film ‘Mera Naam Joker’

This year has been filled with heartbreaking news as we lost a lot of amazing legends from the industry; one of them being Rishi Kapoor who left us for his heavenly abode on April 30. Kapoor had given some really amazing movies to the industry and he never failed to amaze with his impeccable acting skills.

Today would have marked 50 years of Rishi in the industry. Rishi had made his debut with the movie ‘Mera Naam Joker’ that released on 18 December 1970. Rishi’s wife Neetu remembered him on this special day.

Neetu took to her Instagram account and shared a picture collage if Rishi over the years in the industry. The picture gave the fans major nostalgia and only reminded what a great loss this nation suffered. The caption read, “Mera naam joker released on 18th dec. 1970 .. today would have been his 50 years in the indian film industry #rishikapoor??(sic)”

Neetu is all set to make her comeback with the Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani starrer ‘Jug Jug Jeyo’. The actress recently recovered from Covid-19 and has got back to her filming schedule.
