Ranbir Kapoor’s parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor are in New York for the medical treatment of the senior Kapoor. It was rumoured that the veteran actors will soon be back in the country as they are eager to plan Ranbir’s wedding with Alia Bhatt. But as per the latest buzz, looks like we will have to wait a bit longer for the return of Rishi.
According to a report in news agency IANS, Rishi Kapoor has denied the reports stating he has no plans to return to India in the near future. A source has also been quoted as saying, “Rishi is homesick and very eager to return home. They have a wedding to plan (son Ranbir Kapoor is reportedly set to marry Alia Bhatt). And he’s counting the days. But he’s not ready yet to return. His treatment is slow but steady. Hopefully, he can come home in a few months. But the end of this month? No way!”
Meanwhile, the veteran actor seems to have had a new hair cut and wife Neetu, who is quite active on social media, shared a picture of him.

Coming back to the actor’s health, in September last year, Rishi had tweeted to say that he’s taken a break from work and social media to be stationed in the US for treatment.
In the last six months, apart from frequent visits by children Ranbir and Riddhima, Rishi and Neetu have had visitors such as Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Sonali Bendre, Anupam Kher and Alia Bhatt.
Hope to see our ‘Mulk’ actor back in the country soon.
