Rishi Kapoor remembers his father Raj Kapoor on his 31st death anniversary

Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor is a straight shooter and doesn’t mince his words. The temperamental and talented actor always believes in speaking his mind and calls spade a spade. Today is the 31st death anniversary of legendary actor Raj Kapoor, who is the father of Rishi Kapoor.

Rishi Kapoor took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote a very emotional message for his late father. The ‘Bobby’ actor also shared a picture.

Rishi Kapoor shared a very close bond with his father and has time and again reiterated that he has played a very important role in his career as well as life. Rishi is currently in the USA and is now cured of cancer. The father of Ranbir Kapoor has been missing his motherland and is clearly emotional.

Raj Kapoor has been regarded as the legendary figure in the Indian cinema. He was known as “the greatest showman of Hindi cinema”. He has received multiple accolades, including 3 National Film Awards and 11 Filmfare Awards in India. The Government of India honoured Raj Kapoor with the Padma Bhushan in 1971 for his contributions to the arts. He is also the recipient of Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
