Greg Cannom, Hollywood special makeup effects artiste has won yet another Oscar Award for his commendable makeup and hairstyling for Hollywood film ‘Vice’ at 91st Academy Awards. Remembering his makeup in ‘Kapoor & Sons’, veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor, who is currently undergoing treatment in New York congratulated Greg Cannom and his team for his 4th Oscar win.
Taking to Twitter, Rishi Kapoor wrote, “Congratulations Greg Cannom for your fourth Oscar for the film ‘Vice’. You did ‘Kapoor & Sons’ with me. Bravo!” He also added that it was Greg and his team who endlessly made sure to give him this transformation which took 5 hours of hard work daily.

The film ‘Vice’ is a biopic on Dick Cheney – former vice president of the United States and has been the topic of discussion over Christian Bale’s brilliant onscreen transformation into the character. The men behind the amazing transformation of Christian Bale into former Vice President Dick Cheney in ‘Vice’ is none other than Greg Cannom and his team.
‘Vice’ was one of the second-most nominated films at the Oscars this year, the other being ‘A Star Is Born’, with eight nominations each. Earlier 2019, at the Golden Globes, ‘Vice’ had six nominations but scored merely one win for Christian Bale in the Best Actor (Musical/Comedy) category. Sam Rockwell plays former US President George W Bush in this Adam McKay’s directorial film.
