Rishi Kapoor gives a nod to Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s relationship?

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are going through the best years of their life together, be it on a personal level or a professional level. If Ranbir’s recent release ‘Sanju’ went on to break a number of records, Alia’s ‘Raazi’ too went on to earn accolades. The couple’s relationship (ever since they stepped out together at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding) has also piqued the interest of their fans.

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor (who recently celebrated his birthday) opened up on his son Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s relationship in a candid interview.

Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Rishiji said, “It’s Ranbir’s life. Who he wants to get married to is his prerogative. Neetu likes her, I like her, Ranbir likes her. Get it? I can’t be judgmental. After all, my uncles Shammiji and Shashiji and I chose our life partners. Ranbir is entitled to choose his.”

Ranbir’s mother Neetu has often expressed her liking for Alia Bhatt on her Instagram profile. The actor’s sister has been seen bonding with Alia too. And now, daddy dearest Rishi Kapoor seems to have given his approval too.

In an earlier interview to Hindustan Times, Rishi had expressed his admiration for Alia for taking up challenging roles like ‘Highway’ and ‘Raazi’. He had also revealed that he wants Ranbir to settle down soon as he wants to spend some time with his grandchildren.

Alia’s father, director-producer Mahesh Bhatt, has also given his approval on the relationship and praising Ranbir Kapoor, said that it is their life and he admires them for choosing to talk about their relationship.

On the work front Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’. The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. Alia will next be seen in ‘Kalank’, ‘Gully Boy’ and ‘Sadak 2’. On the other hand, Ranbir has YRF’s ‘Shamshera’ and Luv Ranjan’s next in his kitty.
