Yesteryear actor Shammi Kapoor was one of the iconic superstars who ruled the 60s and 70s era of Bollywood. On his death anniversary, Shammi’s nephew and veteran actor Rishi Kapoor remembered him by sharing a major throwback picture. Rishi is currently residing in New York, as he is undergoing treatment for cancer there.
Rishi is very active on social media and never misses any chance to share his views and opinions. Remembering his late uncle Shammi Kapoor, Rishi wrote, “Remembering Shammi Kapoor. Left us 14th August 2011. Never a star like him!”. And we couldn’t agree more with him because never again we saw a star with Shammi’s aura.
You can check Rishi’s post below:

Several followers of Rishi left comments on his post as they paid their tribute to the late actor. One of them wrote, “Shammi ji and Kashmir were just inseparable. Yahooooo still represents the happiness of being in Love (sic).”
Rishi has worked with his uncle Shammi in some classic films like ‘Prem Rog’, ‘Prem Granth’ and ‘Naseeb’ to name a few. Coincidently, Shammi was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Rockstar’ alongside his grandson Ranbir Kapoor. The iconic actor passed away in 2011, due to chronic renal failure.
