Riteish Deshmukh is ardent follower of Ganpati Bappa like many other Bollywood celebs. Well, the actor is not in India this year to celebrate the festival, so he decided to celebrate it in America. Riteish made an eco-friendly Ganpati idol, and dedicated it to all the farmers of India.
He posted a video of making the idol and wrote, “Celebrating #GaneshChaturthi in America, Made an idol, I humbly dedicate it to our Farmers. #ECO #Planter #Visarjan #SonOfAFarmer #Bappa.”

Isn’t this a great idea?
He later tweeted that he wants to thank his wife, Genelia, for being an inspiration for making the idol. The actor tweeted, “I wanna thank Baiko @geneliad for inspiring me to do this & also 4 shooting this video. God bless you all with happiness prosperity & love.”

When it comes to films, Riteish Deshmukh was last seen on the big screen in ‘Bank Chor’. Though his performance was praised a lot, the film unfortunately failed to make a mark at the box office. He will reportedly next be seen in ‘Total Dhamaal’ which will be the third instalment in the franchise of ‘Dhamaal’. He is also working on the Marathi film which will be a biopic on Shivaji Maharaj. When we had met him for an interview during the promotions of ‘Bank Chor’, the actor had revealed that he had once robbed sketch pens in school. He hadsaid, “I had robbed sketch pens in sixth standard. That guy had these sketch pens from London. I couldn’t afford it and my father never went to London. I loved it so much that before the last period got over I unpacked his bag and then packed my bag.”
‘Eat Sleep Bollywood Repeat’ is his life Mantra. Dance is his first love and Rani Mukerji is his eternal crush. He is someone who loves being himself, and as for the ones who don’t agree, his reply? “Talk to my hand!”
