Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza pen heartfelt posts for former Maharashtra CM Vilasrao Deshmukh on his death anniversary

Riteish Deshmukh took to his social media handle to pen heartfelt notes for his dad and former Maharashtra CM Vilasrao Deshmukh. Genelia D’Souza also remembered her father-in-law on his death anniversary. Riteish posted a video where he can be seen putting his hand through a sleeve of his father’s kurta. He wrote, “Miss you every day papa,” alongside a video.

He posted yet another video where he can be seen putting flowers on his dad’s statue. “I talk to you every day Pappa, I know you hear me. #vilasraodeshmukh,” he captioned the video. The actor also shared a few pictures of his sons where they were seen with folded hands in front of their granddad’s pic. He captioned the pics, “Wish they met !!!!”.

Genelia posted a picture of her husband and father-in-law and wrote, “I know this is the look, you have on all of us, wherever you are, because our loved ones never ever really leave us, they keep loving us, looking after us, showing us the right path and for me it’s the highest form of love, to just be able to feel it even when you don’t see it..We Miss You Papa I’m sure you spreading your charm, wherever you are ???(sic)”.

Vilasrao Deshmukh died after battling liver cancer in 2012 on August 14. He was 67.
