Riteish Deshmukh gives a tribute to Lal Bahadur Shastri in a very special way

We all know that it was PM Lal Bahadur Shastri who had given the slogan, ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’. Today while the whole country is celebrating Gandhi Jayanti, let us tell you that it is also Lal Bahadur Shastri’s birth anniversary, today.

Well, to give a tribute to our country’s second Prime Minister, actor Riteish Deshmukh has shared a video on his Twitter account. In the video, Riteish is seen cutting sugarcane. Along with the video, the actor wrote, “Son of a farmer at work. #JaiKisan Tribute to former PM Lal Bahadur Shastri ji on his birth anniversary. #JaiJawanJaiKisan.”

When it comes to films, Riteish, who was last seen on the big screen in ‘Bank Chor’, will be reportedly seen in ‘Total Dhamaal’ which will be the third instalment of ‘Dhanaal’ franchise. Riteish will also be making a film on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in which he will be playing the lead role. The movie will also star Salman Khan in a pivotal role.
