Riteish Deshmukh‘s recent Bollywood venture, ‘Banjo’ has received rave reviews, and the actor has now shifted his focus on his next Marathi film, a biopic on Chhatrapati Shivaji to be directed by Ravi Jadhav.
Speaking of the progress of the film, Riteish says, “We are still scripting the film and finalising a few things before we start rolling by the end of the year.”
It was long back that reports of Salman Khan doing a cameo in the film had made it to the headlines. And it was only recently that Riteish confirmed the news saying, “Salman was a part of my debut Marathi film, ‘Lai Bhaari’ and he was gracious enough to be a part of ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji’. It was extremely kind of him to have offered to be a part of this without knowing exactly what part he would play. I respect that faith he has in me and our friendship.”
While the details of the character that Salman plays is still not out, we are certain, it will be something interesting.
