Ritu Nanda Death: Amitabh Bachchan, Ekta Kapoor, Sonali Bendre and others mourn the sudden demise

Tuesday morning brings in a piece of very sad news for the B-town celebs – Ritu Nanda’s demise. Rishi Kapoor’s sister and Shweta Bachchan Nanda’s mother-in-law passed early in the morning. Reportedly, she was suffering from cancer for a very long time and she breathed last on January 14.

Rishi Kapoor’s daughter, Riddhima took to her Instagram handle and shared, “I had never met a more humble and decent person in my life till date. Aunt you will always remember RIP (sic).” Riddhima’s mother, Neetu Kapoor has also shared a picture with Ritu, with a heartfelt caption. Ritu Nanda was married to Rajan Nanda and she was 71 years old.  Their son Nikhil Nanda is married to Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan‘s daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda. Shweta and Ritu were often spotted having quality time together at the Bollywood parties and events. Ritu is the elder sister to Rishi Kapoor and she shared a warm bond of friendship with him.
