Ranbir Kapoor has just begun shooting for Sanjay Dutt’s biopic. Just yesterday, we saw pictures of Ranbir deeply engrossed in his character; and man, he resembles Dutt stunningly!
However, Wednesday wasn’t a great day for the crew as residents of Pali Hill were furious over the road congestion, which took place due to shooting. They brought the shoot to halt for a good 40 minutes.
“There was a scene where Ranbir was supposed to drive a Ferrari into Sanjay Dutt’s house on Pali Hill. The rest of the shooting was supposed to take place inside the house. The shooting started from 6 am and continued for three hours. Soon, it was time for people to go out for work or other daily tasks. But they were stuck in traffic congestion as the crew was shooting in middle of the road,” Madhu Poplai, secretary of Pali Hill Residents’ Association, told TOI. (Also Read: Terrific trio! “As a result, the whole road was blocked. This obviously frayed the nerves. Also, the entire unit had littered the road. They threw paper plates, cups and other garbage everywhere. We were not even aware that such a shoot was to take place here. The film unit did not inform the Residents’ Association nor did they seek any permission from us,” he added.
They also accused the crew of littering the roads, leaving them in a state unable to be used.
Situation came back to normalcy after Hirani came out of Dutt’s residence and apologised to the residents.
