#RockOn2: The Magik band returns to rule, beginning with an outstanding poster

The Magik band is back with a definite bang. Actors Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli’s first poster of the much anticipated musical drama ‘Rock On 2‘ is released. Known for its fresh storyline, casting, and especially the rock music, it had made the first instalment ‘Rock On’ into a cult film. Looking at the great hype and connect, the makers are now ready for a brand new journey of life for musicians Aditya, Joe and KD (the characters Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli will be reprising from the first part).

Farhan Akhtar who had made his acting and singing debut with ‘Rock On’, took to his Twitter account to share the first poster of this second part. He wrote, “Woohooo! Here we go… #RockOn2 poster. #ReliveTheMagic

Looking at this brand new poster, we get to introduce to the two new additions to the Magik band, actress Shraddha Kapoor and ‘Titli’ fame actor Shashank Arora. And with a strong tagline inserted that ‘every generation finds its voice’, this time, it seems more than just Music.

‘Rock On 2’ will also see director Abhishek Kapoor, who helmed the first part, being replaced by Shujaat Saudagar, so we can expect a fresh charm.

It is slated to release on November 11, 2016.
