Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani Promotions: Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh’s ‘Kolkata ki kahaani’ is too adorable to miss – Watch

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt recently reached Kolkata for the promotion of their upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. As a part of their five-city tour for the marketing campaign, the duo has already visited Baroda, Delhi, Kanpur. At the event in Kolkata, Ranveer and Alia launches the much-awaited song Dhindhora Baje Re from the film. The peppy number has been well received by the audience.

Post the city tour, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram and shared glimpse of the promotional tour. For the event, the actor duo opted for stylish outfits. Alia, who is opting for saree during promotions, stunned yet again in a red and pink chiffon saree. While Ranveer too looked dapper in a white shirt and black trousers with white linings on it.

In a video shared by Alia Bhatt, she is seen rehearsing bengali to effortlessly interact. However, she had forgotten the lines on stage, but after a few attempts and some support from Ranveer, she was finally able to speak effortlessly.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani release date

Directed by Karan Johar, the film is all set to hit the theatres on 28 July 2028. Rocky Aur Rani has veteran star cast like Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra in pivotal roles. In the film, Ranveer will be seen playing a flamboyant Punjabi guy Rocky, while Alia will essay the role of Bengali girl Rani. The two fall in love, but their families are against their union. In order to mend differences, Rocky and Rani hatch a plan and decide to spend time with each others families. Well., will they finally unite?

For those unversed, the film marks Karan Johar’s return to directorial seat after seven years. His last venture was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
