Actors Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is one of the most-awaited movies of this year. Since the first song Tum Kya Mile and the trailer of the movie launched, it has only left us wanting for more. Now, finally, the wait is over and the peppy dance number What Jhumka is out. The Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani song is fun, colourful and vibrant.

Alia and Ranveer groove on What Jhumka

On Wednesday, the makers released the song What Jhumka and it just makes us a little nostalgic. It took us back to the days 60s-70s era. Several songs have added their own touch to the song and we absolutely loved this upbeat song. What Jhumka song is sung by Arijit Singh and Jonita Gandhi while the music is composed by Madan Mohan and Pritam. The lyrics are penned down by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Interestingly so, the composers gave a modern twist to the song which is quite peppy and captivating.

From Ranveer Singh’s catchy dance moves to Alia Bhatt saying ‘What Jhumka?’ is making our hearts pump faster to the music. Though the music and lyrics are enjoyable and upbeat, the music video is equally visually appealing. It’s a colourful song and it exudes director Karan Johar’s trademark of showing grandeur and fun in his songs.

Apart from Alia and Ranveer, the movie boasts a stellar cast of veteran actors like Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. Karan Johar is coming back to the director’s seat after directing Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani release date is July 28.
