Rohit Shetty aims to work with Salman Khan & Amitabh Bachchan soon

Director Rohit Shetty is busy canning his upcoming film ‘Dilwale’. The movie that will hit the theaters on December 18, has been in the news for a number of reasons, prominent among them being the return of DDLJ Jodi of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol once again. The other reason being it’s imminent clash at the box office with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Bajirao Mastani’.

Recently Rohit Shetty was heard praising the actors he has so far worked with. He said, “I am extremely happy directing actresses like Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor and now Kajol and all of these actresses are hugely talented. These are very fine actresses. You know it when they do comedy. People feel comedy is easy, it is down market, but it is most difficult to have the right comic timing. And of course, they are great with other emotions, too.”

But he dreams of directing Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan in near future. Rohit confessed, “I want to work with Amitabh Bachchan in a full-fledged film. I used to go on the sets of his films with my dad (veteran stunt-master-actor M B Shetty) and observe him. I still get scared when he is around. I would also love to do a film with Salman Khan. But it has to be something big for us to come together, like how Shah Rukh Khan and I came together for Chennai Express. I want the right script for Salman.”

So we do hope to see Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan sharing screen space under Rohit Shetty’s direction soon.
