Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn to begin shoot for Singham 3 from THIS date

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty is known as a hit machine as he has given some major blockbusters in his career. The ace filmmaker is also a pioneer in forming his cop universe with Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar. The actors were seen in Singham, Simmba and Sooryavanshi respectively. Rumours of Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty coming together for Singham 3 have been on for some time. Now the director has confirmed the same in an interview.

In an interview with Pinkvilla Rohit Shetty confirmed that he is joining hands with Ajay Devgn for a new instalment of Singham.

Speaking to Pinkvilla Rohit Shetty said, “We have already started working on Singham 3. It has been a long time since I made an out-and-out Singham film. We start the shoot next year in April. Ajay Sir is busy with his commitments and I am also busy with Cirkus. So, by April, we will start Singham 3. It is going to be the biggest cop universe ever that we have made to date.”

Speaking about making multi-starrers in today’s time Rohit Shetty said, “Ajay sir and Akshay sir come from an old school, where they believe in doing multiple hero films. Ranveer has the faith that I will present him in the right way. Young actors should leave their insecurity behind and start working in two or three hero films.  As for the next 2 to 3 years, it’s going to be the thing to make big-scale films in the right way with multiple heroes. Big scale is what the audience will come and watch.”

On the work front, Rohit Shetty is awaiting the release of his next Cirkus featuring Ranveer Singh. Ajay Devgn has Bholaa in his kitty that the actor is also directing.
