Rohit Shetty denies reports of collaborating with SRK for a movie again

There were some reports which stated that filmmaker Rohit Shetty and is teaming up with Shah Rukh Khan for the third time after ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Dilwale’. However, those reports are not at all true as the filmmaker has clarified that he is not collaborating with SRK for the third time. Speaking about the same with a daily, he said, “I have nothing right now. It is just that I was shooting at Mehboob (Studio) and he was there, I went to see him and so speculations started about a film.” (Also Read: Katrina not approached to star opposite Ranveer, confirms Rohit Shetty)

There were some sources who had earlier said, “The film that Shah Rukh and Rohit were supposed to do together next is now shelved. They both hold each other responsible for the failure of ‘Dilwale’. Rohit feels Shah Rukh made a big mistake releasing ‘Dilwale’ on the same Friday as Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’. Shah Rukh feels Rohit didn’t work hard enough on ‘Dilwale’. The parting has not been amicable.”

So, there were rumours that after the failure of ‘Dilwale’, a fallout happened between SRK and the director. The director had said in an earlier interview, “First I heard I am doing ‘Theri’ with SRK. Then I heard that the movie which I never announced, got shelved. Then I also heard that SRK and I fought. He is in America and I was in London. How can we fight?”

So those of you waiting to see them together will have to wait longer.
