Rohit Shetty makes a statement regarding ‘Golmaal 5’; read details

Bollywood director Rohit Shetty is a filmmaker who is not pretentious and believes in making massy and masala films. The ‘Singham’ director has often reiterated that he makes films for the audiences and critics’ opinion makes little difference to his thought process and subject of films.

Now, according to a report in DNA, Rohit Shetty is reportedly planning to make ‘Golmaal 5’. Yes, you have read it right! The action filmmaker has said that the project is underway and things will become clearer in near future.

Recently, the ‘Golmaal’ team had shot a special song for the Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer ‘Simmba’. The song ‘Aankh Marey’ has become a smashing hit and the fusion of ‘Golmaal’ team with ‘Simmba’s cast has been greatly appreciated by the audience. ‘Aankh Marey’ song featured Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu and Shreyas Talpade.

The 45-year-old director said, “Yes the gesture by Team ‘Golmaal’ in ‘Aankh Marey’ was a hint about ‘Golmaal 5.”  

“I don’t know when we will start working on it,” he further added.

Incidentally, Ajay Devgn has also done a cameo in ‘Simmba’ and his appearance in the trailer has wowed the public to a great extent.

‘Simmba’ is a typical masala entertainer, which sees Ranveer Singh playing a cop, who is fighting crimes against women. ‘Simmba’ also stars Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood in pivotal roles. The flick is a typical Rohit Shetty entertainer and will be releasing on December 28, 2018.
