Rohit Shetty once again proves he is Bollywood’s hit machine, Here’s why

Rohit Shetty is known for his big-ticket mass entertainers and is a bandwagon for shaking up the box office with his successful theatrical stints. Taking forward the cop universe, Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi which featured Akshay Kumar in the title role was a big point of conversation throughout the pandemic.

Upon release in the theatres with restrictions across the country, Sooryavanshi made a massive mark in bringing back audiences to the theatres after the hiatus of a year and a half. Rohit Shetty’s sense of understanding the pulse of the audiences worked wonders for the entire movie industry.

From thereon Sooryavanshi went ahead and created multiple benchmarks. The film is the biggest blockbuster that Bollywood has delivered since the pandemic. The makers have earned Rs. 200cr approx box office collections even with 50% occupancy in theatres due to government restrictions. No film has seen this level of footfall in theatres since Sooryavanshi.

The film had a holiday (Diwali) release and audiences were excited to go back to cinemas to watch this new cop in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. While Sooryavanshi made big bucks for the makers, it also opened doors for many other Bollywood films to release in theatres since audiences came back to cinemas for this exciting entertainer.

The director always presents audiences with cinema that can be enjoyed with family and friends and we are looking forward to many such films which disrupts cinema experiences!

Meanwhile, Shetty has been busy with his next movie titled Circus. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty and stars Ranveer Singh in a key role.
