Rohit Shetty is currently on a roll. After the super success of Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Simmba’, Rohit is directing Akshay Kumar in ‘Sooryavanshi’.
Now, Rohit Shetty has taken to Instagram to pay his tribute to the late Veeru Devgan. “It takes real fathers to transform their boys into heroes. Started doing stunts at the age of 16, still going strong at 45. And I know one man who will always be proud of me in Heaven. My Guru, My Father – Veeru Devgan,” he wrote.

Along with the post, Rohit shared a video of himself performing a stunt on a motorbike. He urged his fans to not try the same. The video was taken on location in Bangkok where Rohit is shooting ‘Sooryavanshi’.
In an interview with DNA, Rohit spoke about how he keeps his head down despite so much success. “Because nothing is permanent. I have seen ups and downs, I have seen my dad working. I have seen the way the industry functions. I know why this person is sweet to me. I know why everybody wants to work with me. I can’t let that go to head and think that all are my friends now and I have arrived and now things are not going to change. Two flops and I know that nobody is going to bear with me,” he said.
