Ranveer Singh starrer Cirkus will be like ‘Golmaal and All The Best,’ says Rohit Shetty

Ranveer Singh starrer Cirkus is one of the most anticipated films of this year. It has been making headlines ever since it was announced. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty. He has now shared an update on the film. Rohit shared that Cirkus will be made ‘on the lines of Golmaal and All The Best’. He also called it a ‘happy, cool and breezy’ film.

In a recent interview with PTI, Rohit was asked if Cirkus has any similarity to the films adapted by Shakespeare’s classic, The Comedy of Errors. He said, “There have been many versions of The Comedy of Errors. In Bengali cinema, it was made as a black and white film, then do Do Dooni Char with Kishore Kumar. So, it has changed a lot over the years.”

He added, “Our film is a different take. It is a happy, cool and breezy film, much on the lines of Golmaal and All The Best.”

Cirkus is slated to release during Christmas. In May, Ranveer shared the poster of the film and wrote, “Let’s bring the house down this Christmas!!!!!! #CirkusThisChristmas.” Apart from Ranveer, Cirkus also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Varun Sharma, and Sulabhav Arya among others.

Ranveer has interesting projects in the pipeline. Apart from Cirkus, Ranveer will also be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani also stars Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. This is the second time Alia and Ranveer will be working together and fans are beyond excited for it. Earlier, several pictures of the two shooting for the film had gone viral on social media. RARKPK will be released next year.
