Rohit Shetty under CBI scanner for bribing Censor Cheif

Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty is under CBI scanner for allegedly bribing a censor board cheif to pass his film ‘Singham Returns’ with a U Certificate. The director who is quite busy with his upcoming film ‘Dilwale’ will soon be questioned by the official of the CBI.

The Censor Board that has been mired in controversies. Since the Chief of the Censor Board Rakesh Kumar had been caught while taking a bribe and this had led to the can of worms spilling many other such happenings. He is now being questioned on the Rohit Shetty film too. Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Returns’ that had released in 2014, Independence day had been passed by the board a week prior to it’s release.

The CBI Mumbai unit has also filed a case against Rohit Shetty and also the producers of ‘Singham Returns’ for allegedly bribing Rakesh Kumar on giving them a no objection certificate for their film. The plea has already been sent to Delhi Headquarters.
