Rohit Shetty wanted Taimur Ali Khan to promote ‘Simmba’; read details

Bollywood, as an industry, has grown by leaps and bounds and every strategy has a reason behind it. Ranveer Singh‘s much-awaited ‘Simmba’ released on December 28, 2018, and it has received a thunderous response from the audience. The Rohit Shetty directorial is a total masala entertainer and it has totally wowed the audience.

The entire cast of ‘Simmba’ i.e. Ranveer Singh, Rohit Shetty and Sara Ali Khan left no stone unturned in making ‘Simmba’ a success. The trio were busy with the promotions and now Rohit Shetty has revealed that he wanted to have Sara’s step-brother Taimur Ali Khan to promote this film.

Rohit, Ranveer and Sara appeared on a TV show together where Karan Johar, who is also the co-producer of the film, was one of the judges.

During the conversation, ‘Simmba’ director Rohit Shetty revealed that he would request Sara to get Taimur to wear a ‘Simmba’ t-shirt for just a day – ‘Meri film ki opening lag jayegi,’ he had said.

The little munchkin i.e. Taimur is extremely popular and Rohit Shetty does have a point. In fact, Ranveer Singh on ‘Koffee with Karan 6’ had said that he would not mind playing Taimur’s father on-screen.

‘Simmba’ is doing exceedingly well at the box office. And the film, in the coming days, could break many more records. Rohit Shetty has proved that he has cracked the code of box office success and believes in making films for masses.
