‘Rosie – The Saffron Chapter’: Mandiraa Entertainment to announce who ‘Rosie’ is on July 31

After the announcement of ‘Iti’, Mandiraa Entertainment and Vivek Anand Oberoi’s Oberoi Mega Entertainment announced their second collaboration ‘Rosie – The Saffron Chapter’. This horror-thriller is based on true events that took place in Gurugram. And ‘Rosie’ will be made into a franchise.

The franchise’s first part, ‘Saffron Chapter’ is based in the Saffron BPO, considered as one of the most haunted places in Gurugram. Its story revolves around a girl called Rosie who was an employee in this BPO. And guess what? The makers of the film are all set to announce its lead. Yes, they will be revealing who will play Rosie on July 31. So aren’t you guys excited about it?

Creating excitement and suspense surrounding ‘Rosie’s lead, film trade analyst Komal Nahta took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “If the mystery around #Rosie haunts you, stay tuned to find out who Rosie is, announcing on 31st July.. Rosie, a horror-thriller film franchise based on true events in Gurugram, will be directed by Vishal Mishra and produced by @Mandiraa_ent & Vivek Oberoi’s Oberoi Mega Ent.”

The makers of the film have decided to launch a nation-wide hunt for a new face that will feature in a prominent role in this film. Speaking about Mandiraa Entertainment’s upcoming venture, its founder Prerna V Arora had said, “I’m thoroughly excited with the concept of Rosie, and we want to develop this as our in-house franchise brand. We want to tell different and novel stories, especially based on true incidents. An idea or talent can come from anywhere, and we want to be able to facilitate them through such films and such initiatives.”
