According to a Pinkvilla report, makers of RRR have received offers of whopping Rs 348 crores from independent distributors from Southern states. A trade source was quoted saying in the portal as, “The RRR team has received offers from independent distributors from different territories of Southern states which amounts to Rs 348 crore. This exorbitant offer is only for Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam version of RRR. So when the Hindi version’s rights will be sold, which is expected to be around 100 crores, that will indeed make the deal even more lucrative. According to the same report, RRR’s Hindi version will be released by AA Films (Anil Thadani). The overseas rights of the period drama have been sold for Rs 70 crore to Phars Films. So apparently just by selling the theatrical rights, the makers of RRR will be amassing a revenue of Rs 500 crores!

RRR is a fictional story about India’s freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao) who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively. Apart from Alia, the film also features Olivia Morris.
