Rumour has it: Diljit Dosanjh’s marriage has hit a rocky patch

The star of Punjabi cinema Diljit Dosanjh made his big Bollywood debut last year in ‘Udta Punjab’. The movie which had an ensemble cast comprising of Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt, saw Diljit in a supporting role. But, the actor managed to hold his own in spite of a strong star cast. That also saw an increase in his fan following. But, with stardom come some pitfalls too.

The actor who is married in real life has hit a rough patch in his marital life, as reported by a leading web portal. A source close to the portal said, “As and when he’s asked in a couple of interviews about his marital status, he has successfully managed to veer away from the question.” The question is what leads him to veer away from questions related to his marital status.

The source further adds, “It’s a typical case of what happened in Himesh Reshammiya’s married life recently. The wife is very simple and Diljit has become a big shot especially after ‘Udta Punjab’ (No doubt, he acted marvellously in that Punjab drug issue film and came out trumps despite the film having 3 excellent actors alongside him- Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt). There was a certain amount of communication gap between the husband and wife then, and now it is only increasing.” Well, we don’t have a confirmation on this from the actor or his spokesperson, but the rumours of his marriage hitting rock-bottom seem to be going viral all around. Let’s wait to know what the man has to say on these speculations.

On the work front, Diljit will next be seen in Anushka Sharma’s production ‘Phillauri’ where she will be paired opposite him. The movie will be releasing in March 2017.
