Ruslaan Mumtaz and wife Nirali Mehta finally reveal their newborn son’s name

‘MP3: Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar’ actor Ruslaan Mumtaz and wife Nirali Mehta welcomed their first child on March 26. Naturally, the couple is on cloud nine these days with the new addition to their family. The adorable couple has finally revealed their newborn son’s name. Read on to know what it is.

Ruslaan and Nirali have named their son Rayaan. Revealing the name’s meaning, the actor told Hindustan Times, “Rayaan means gates to heaven. Nirali came up with this name and we immediately locked it. She was very close to her grandmother who passed away two days before the baby was born. So, she decided to call him Rayaan, opening the gates of heaven for our grandmother, into our lives.”

Sharing his innermost feelings, about the birth of his son amidst the difficult situation of lockdown, Ruslaan wrote on his Instagram handle, “I genuinely do believe that babies born in times when the world is going through a rough patch come here for a reason. So I’m hoping my chota baby is a superhero born in difficult times and in time will make this world even more beautiful than he already is.
I hope and pray the world becomes a better place for us, our parents and our children.”

Ruslaan and Nirali had tied the knot in 2014.
