Shraddha Kapoor may be getting terribly panned by critics for her performance in ‘Saaho’, but the actress is all set to win audiences over with her next ‘Chhichhore’, which is getting some brilliant reviews. Amidst all the work work work, Shraddha Kapoor took time out from her busy schedule to do her bit to help the environment.
Fame means nothing when one doesn’t use it for the betterment of the society, and Shraddha Kapoor lived up to this idiom by joining protestors rallying to save 2700+ trees, which are in danger of being chopped down in Mumbai’s Aarey Colony region. The trees could soon be felled to make way for Mumbai’s Metro extension, which has got the indigenous, environmentally conscious populace up in arms.
What this populace doesn’t care to understand is that the Metro extension will help people’s travel time reduce by a massive amount. People who travel for more than 2 hours to reach office and another 2 hours to reach home will relate to it pretty much, as they would want to make that distance in 30-45 minutes and get o spend more time with their family and friends.
Anyways, Shraddha Kapoor backing the cause is certain to lend massive weight to this burning issue and Sunday morning was a testimony to how the actress has totally carried the baton to raise the alarm for nature. On the work front, Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Saaho’ is garnering terrible reviews from across quarters, but still, the movie manages to bring footfalls to the theatres. The actress is seen in an action-packed avatar opposite Prabhas in the movie.
Also, she will be seen next in ‘Chhichhore’, which is getting some fantastic reviews from critics after a special screening of the movie last night.
