‘Saaho’: The Hindi version of Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer certified U/A with no cuts

Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Saaho’ is all set to release on August 30. The movie will be releasing in four languages-Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. The Hindi version has been certified U/A by CBFC with no cuts. The runtime will be 2 hours 51 minutes. The other versions of the action drama were certified weeks ago, but the Hindi version got certified later.

As reported by Bollywood Hungama, while talking about getting certifications for all the four versions, director Sujeeth said, “Every version had to be submitted for censoring separately. Luckily we were cleared with a ‘UA’ and no cuts. Then began the process of uploading all US prints, and sending off local prints in four languages all across the country.”

He further said, “I am switching off my phone now until the film releases and going to sleep. I haven’t slept for days and weeks. Whatever had to be done has been done. Now it is in the audiences’ hands. I just hope the film works not just for my sake but Prabhas Sir’s sake and the producers’ sake.”

While talking about the runtime, Sujeeth said, “There is not a dull moment in the length and breadth of the narrative. If there was, we’d have removed it.”

‘Saaho’ is a high-octane action drama that has an ensemble cast of Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Panday, Mahesh Manjrekar, Arun Vijay and Murali Sharma amongst others.
