Pakistani actress Saba Qamar, who is all set to make her big screen debut in Bollywood opposite the extremely talented Irrfan Khan in ‘Hindi Medium’ has already landed herself in extreme trouble. Leave aside the ban on Pakistani artistes post Uri attacks, this is also very serious. Now, she has given a clarification on those statements to a web portal. She says, “It was a fun show… There was nothing in it… ‘Koffee With Karan’ mein kya kuchh nahi hota (What all does not happen on Koffee With Karan)… I love everyone, and he’s (Salman) a big superstar and so humble. Why would I say anything bad about him?”
So for those of you who don’t know what exactly transpired, the actress spoke extensively about Bollywood actors on a Pakistani talk show, where she was only bashing them. When she was quizzed if Hrithik Roshan proposed her for marriage what would be her reply she said, “Don’t want a father of two… He is not my cup of tea.” Next in line was Emraan Hashmi whom she rejected on the grounds of “mouth cancer”.
She was shown a picture of Salman Khan to which she replied by calling him a “chichora (indecent), and for not knowing how to dance”. It was only for Ranbir Kapoor’s picture that she readily agreed saying, “Of course darling, I am ready for you.”
Now, let’s see how this justification of hers is going to help her.
Passionate about writing, and a Bollywood lover, she is all that is sweet and endearing! She desires to put her best foot forward in everything that she does and loves to help anyone who’s in need.
