We often heard them saying, “If Cricket is religion, Sachin is our god”. ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ , an extensive docu-feature on the life of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, releases on June 26. Fans across the country can’t wait to witness the magical journey on the big screen. Meanwhile, the film has been made tax-free in Chhattisgarh and Kerala.
The makers believe this will drag more people to watch the film and the inspiration will reach out to a wide number of audience.
“We are very pleased that ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ is tax free in the states of Kerala and Chhattisgarh… Thanks to the tax-exemption in these states, many more people will be able to watch the inspiring story of Sachin Tendulkar, and learn from/about how he overcame the darker, more testing phases of his life,” producer Ravi Bhagchandka said during a press conference in Mumbai.
