Sad! Saumya Tandon got injured on her honeymoon in Switzerland

Actress Saumya Tandon who has been a part of the movie ‘Jab We Met’ and is currently seen on the TV show ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ got injured on her honeymoon trip in Switzerland. The actress who tied the knot with Saurabh Devendra Singh in December last year, recently shared honeymoon pictures on her social media page.

But, unfortunately the actress suffered a ligament tear in the Swiss Alps while taking a skiing course with her hubby. She was learning the beginner’s course when all of a sudden owing to some confusion between Saumy and her instructor, she fell. (ALSO READ: Saumya Tandon’s honeymoon pictures are damn beautiful)

Saumya confirmed this unfortunate incident with a leading daily. “She said, My instructor spoke very little English while I understood little German. We managed fine during the initial classes as he demonstrated the basic steps. In fact, I had made good progress and both were happy. However, it was in the baby slope that the instructions were lost in translation. I was doing my first solo run and I heard my instructor shout ‘fast’. So, I skied faster, but turns out, he meant the German ‘fast’, which means ‘nearly done’. He was trying to boost my confidence, but I was already skiing at a fast pace and couldn’t control the speed. While trying to stop the slide, I fell with my knees collapsing inwards. I suffered a grade one tear and had a swollen knee.” Sad!

However, the injury has not deterred her spirit as she is back in town and busy shooting for her serial ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’.
