Saif Ali Khan has been discharged from Lilavati Hospital

Reports indicate that around 2 AM, Saif heard disturbances related to one of his female employees being attacked in his son Jeh’s room. In an attempt to intervene, Saif confronted the assailant, resulting in an altercation where both he and the employee were injured. He suffered six stab wounds from the attacker and was promptly taken to the hospital for medical care.

Police actions

In response to the incident, the police quickly took action and apprehended the alleged attacker, identified as Shariful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir, a 30-year-old from Bangladesh who had assumed the name Vijay Das in India. He was arrested in Thane three days after the attack.

A police official stated that when Fakir was captured, he claimed to be a resident of Kolkata but could not provide any documentation to support this assertion. During interrogation, he revealed his true identity and nationality. The police confirmed that his brother sent a school leaving certificate to Fakir’s mobile phone, which serves as strong evidence of his Bangladeshi nationality. The investigation into the case is currently ongoing.

As for Saif, while he has been discharged, doctors have recommended that he rest for the next few days to facilitate his recovery. Additionally, the Bandra residence of the actor has new and advanced security development.
