Is Saif Ali Khan JEALOUS of wife Kareena Kapoor Khan’s success? The ‘Omkara’ actor answers

Saif Ali Khan is in the most prosperous trajectory of his career graph. The actor has created a niche for himself with the kind of roles he has done so far. Saif had created a lot of buzz when he tied the knot with the gorgeous and successful actress of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor. Being with such a celebrated and successful actress, the question of jealousy arises.

In a recent interview, Rajeev Masand asked the actor if he is jealous of Kareena and is it difficult to go back home to such a successful actress when he has seen failures in his own career. To which Saif replied, “No, no, no. I mean I think we’re far too realistic for that kind of thing. One understands that but no we aren’t as chauvinist…you know things change, things go up and down and things happen. At one point in time somebody is more successful than the other and the other time both people are having a great time. But I have never measured life in those terms. In fact the success of my life has got nothing to do with box office. It’s to do precisely what’s happening at home.”

Saif also said, its a good thing if Kareena is doing better than him. He lives with such a glamourous and successful movie star and it never ever felt like a competition, which he thinks is maybe because of her greatness as a person.

Saif also poked fun at Kareena as he said, “And maybe I can say that she is a bit younger so…. (laughs) I don’t know whatever games we play to feel better. But yeah, I don’t compete or feel bad about that, ever.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Saif was last seen in ‘Laal Kaptaan’ and he has also wrapped up ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ in London. He will starb alongside newbie Alaia F and Tabu in this film. Next, he will also be seen in ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ alongside Ajay Devgn and Kajol. The movie will hit the theatres on January 10.
